I’ve been working in the City since 1998 having studied European Studies with French and German in Trinity College Dublin. I started as a Graduate Trainee in a subsidiary of Allianz Se and then worked as a Credit Analyst of high risk corporate entities. I joined Deutsche as an associate in 2001 and over the years have worked in various roles within Credit Risk Management covering a wide range of markets, industries and clients. I was Head of European Financial Institutions during the financial and sovereign crises. In 2013 I changed roles to work for the Chief Risk Officer as Global Head of Strategic Risk Analysis and Risk Reporting until I went on maternity leave in June 2015. I returned in December to take up another new role in Market Risk Management as the Global Head of Derivatives Counterparty Risk. I’m married with a 7 month old son.
