Marisa J. Futernick is an American artist and writer based in London. She has published several books, including 13 Presidents (Slimvolume, 2016) and How I Taught Umberto Eco to Love the Bomb (RA Editions and California Fever Press, 2015). She has exhibited widely, at venues including the Whitechapel Gallery, London; Royal Academy of Arts, London; Jerwood Space, London; Arnolfini, Bristol; and Yale University. She received her BA in Fine Art from Yale University and was a Visiting Student in Visual Art at Goldsmiths, University of London. She is a graduate of the Royal Academy Schools, and was the 2014 recipient of the Deutsche Bank Awards for Creative Enterprise (Fine Art).
