Tiina is Chief Operating Officer at Deutsche Bank in the UK. She is the Vice-Chair of the UK Executive Committee and Chair of the Regional Governance Committee and is responsible for oversight and governance of Deutsche Bank’s activities in the UK region. She has held a number of roles within the Bank, running trading and capital markets businesses, advising European financial institutions on the debt and equity capital markets. Latterly she was head of UK Strategy. Tiina began her 25 year career in investment banking at Hill Samuel Bank and Lehman Brothers. She has a keen interest in Social Investment and led the creation of “Deutsche Bank Impact Investment Fund,” the first fund of its type to be set up by a bank in the UK. She was a founder member of the Competitor Diversity Forum, an industry group created to share best practice for the recruitment, promotion and retention of women in investment banking. She serves on the Board of Trustees of the Charities Aid Foundation and is a Non-Executive Director of CAF Bank where she chairs the Risk Committee. She is also a Director of Abbey Life Assurance Company.
