The 99 interfaces or “peace walls” of Belfast physically divide the landscape into defined zones. Nearly 50 years after their initial constructions, the presence of the walls are increasingly ambiguous in a modern British city. I propose to make an artist documentary of approximately 30 minutes that explores how dwelling in a landscape maintained on tradition and segregation affects the human condition of those inhabiting it.
